We have no stove, microwave, or kitchen sink, and since there is so much work to do on the house, we can't go get dinner as a family. Which means, take out! Our first meal all together in the new house was Chinese food. Our second was pizza.

A Standstill
Very little is going on at the house. The kitchen cabinets have been delivered, but are not yet installed, which means the granite can't be fabricated.
The deal that we were supposed to get for some of the bathroom materials has fallen thru, it's really going to be rough on our budget not getting that deal.
I'm currently visiting my grandparents in California, I'd really like to be living in my house, but I don't have a usable kitchen.

I'm Out of Town
My husband keeps sending me picture messages.
Here is the texture that's going on the wall. I didn't want texture, I wanted smooth walls, but we couldn't afford that. So this is what the texture looks like over the paint samples for Andrew's room.
It's actually better for me to gone when I'm not getting what I want.
And then he sent me this one, with no explanation.
Edward has poor eyesight in one eye and good eyesight in the other. Guess which one is giving him problems?
Add that to the injury he sustained on Monday
And so far Edward is having a great week. He's been to the doctor twice, which is extremely unusual for him. He's been sick once the entire time I've known him, and te only time he ever missed work was for two days after he had knee surgery.
It really is better that I'm not there. At least he doesn't have to deal with me being annoyed about the wall texture on top of a goopy eye and a sore arm.

Love at First Sight
Remember when I wrote about taking design quizzes? Well I have found the best way for me to pick out things I like, is to look online on my iPhone, and take screen shots of whatever grabs me. No buyers remorse, and it's like I own it because its saved (for as long as I don't delete it) on my phone and I can visit it whenever I want and then decide if it's true love or just a crush.
This is possibly true love, I'm not sure because I haven't seen it in person. Also from sofacraft.
Another crush from sofacraft
This is true love!
And this was love at first sight, at the Thomasville store.
Love Love Love
Love the color/fabric, Love the lack of cushions, Love the scale.

Edward is also a fan, but I'm not sure if his feelings are as strong as mine.
I'm pretty sure the Thomasville settee and the "Judy" from sofa craft would look wonderful facing each other in my living room.
